In the 1960s Anthony Brandt created a series of limited edition lithographic prints. These reproductions of his original drawings were unique for their time as they were both indistinguishable from the original drawings, and were the largest lithographic prints ever printed.
The technical breakthrough was to create lithographic plates of the white and dark Conte chalks from the original drawings, and then printing them onto the same toned paper used for the original drawings.
Prints of the Creation of the Cosmos which measures 45 x37.5 inches are to the best of our knowledge the largest Fine Art Lithographic Prints of this quality ever to have been published and constitute a landmark in print publishing
